Jonathon graduated from the Ensemble Studios, Sydney in 1999. He has since performedin A Streetcar Named Desire, Snoopy!, Wrong Turn at Lungfish and A Year with Frog andToad for the Ensemble Theatre. Jonathon co-founded Hemlock Productions in 2000, coproducing and performing in Wolfboy (Tap Gallery) and The Boys (The Edge Theatre). Heappeared in Spunks for the Push-Up Theatre Company at the Stables and Honey forHash Honey pty ltd at the Parramatta Riverside. With Nameless Theatre in Japan, heplayed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Othello in 2017. He also performed the role ofParolles in All’s Well That Ends Well with The Prague Shakespeare Company in 2019.Before this, in 2012, after a Theatre in Education tour of Italy with ACLE’s Theatrino, heplayed Ratty in The Australian Shakespeare Company ’s production of Wind in theWillows for the next four summer seasons in Sydney. More recently, he also performedthe role in London (2021) and Melbourne (2023). Jonathon additionally played in ASC’sToad’s Birthday Party, as well as being a workshop facilitator for the company’s Play onShakespeare school incursion program.
